Dr. Temple graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grafton, Massachusetts in 1991. She practiced in northern Rhode Island (dogs and cats) and Central Massachusetts (cat practice) through 2003.
From 2004 to 2006, Dr. Temple accompanied her husband on a work assignment to Shanghai, China, and Manila, Philippines. While abroad she saw patients and advised on the establishment of a pet rescue organization in Shanghai and trained young veterinarians in Manila. She returned to the US in January 2006, settled in Phoenix, and joined Animal Care Hospital of Phoenix.
Dr. Temple has served on the board of directors for the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association since 2017. She plays the violin with the Tempe Symphony and enjoys traveling, hiking, scuba diving, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with her husband, son Noah and their pit bull mix J.P., six cats, fish, chickens, tortoises, and a rabbit.
